Terms of Service

These terms set out the rules for using Cribbb: what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, how payments and subscriptions work, and what happens if something goes wrong. Please read them with our Privacy Policy.

Effective 2 November 2026

01Agreeing to these terms

These Terms of Service (“terms”) apply when you use the Cribbb app on iPhone and Android, cribbb.com, and the services connected to them (together, “Cribbb”). When we say “we”, “us” or “our”, we mean Cribbb. When we say “you”, we mean anyone who uses Cribbb.

By creating an account or using Cribbb, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Cribbb.

Some features have extra rules that we show you when you use them, such as the terms of a travel partner or of the App Store or Google Play. Those rules apply too.

02Who can use Cribbb

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.

If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you need permission from a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you. Purchases must be made or approved by an adult.

You can’t use Cribbb if we have previously removed you, or if the law forbids you from using it.

03Your account

Give accurate information when you create your account and keep it up to date.

Keep your sign-in details safe and don’t share your account. You are responsible for what happens on it. Tell us straight away if you think someone else is using it.

Your username must not pretend to be someone else or a brand, and must not be offensive. Some names are protected and can only be used by their owners.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Settings → Account). Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play; cancel it in the store first.

04What Cribbb does

Cribbb helps you plan, book and enjoy trips:

Plan trips with Zuri, our AI travel assistant, and save places, days and budgets.

Book flights, stays, tours and tickets through our travel partners.

Watch and share short videos, photos and reviews from travellers.

Travel together with friends in group trips, with a shared plan, chat, calls, votes and shared costs.

Meet people, travellers and locals, wherever you go, and chat across languages.

We keep improving Cribbb, so features may change, be added or be removed. We’ll tell you in advance about changes that significantly affect something you pay for.

05Zuri and AI suggestions

Zuri uses AI to write plans, answers and recommendations. They are suggestions to help you decide, not professional advice.

AI can make mistakes. Check important details, such as prices, opening times, visa and entry rules, safety advice, health and allergy information, with the official source before you travel or book.

You are responsible for the decisions you make based on Zuri’s suggestions.

Don’t use Zuri to create anything illegal, harmful or misleading.

06Bookings with travel partners

Cribbb helps you find and compare travel options. Bookings are made with our partners (for example Trip.com, GetYourGuide, airlines and hotels) on their sites or apps, under their terms. Your booking contract is with the partner, not with Cribbb.

Prices, availability and offers come from partners and can change at any time. Estimates are labelled as estimates. The final price is the one the partner shows when you book. Discounts are only shown when they are verified.

Changes, cancellations and refunds of bookings are handled by the partner you booked with. We’re happy to help you find the right place to ask.

We earn a commission from partners when you book through our links. This never changes the price you pay.

07Payments, subscriptions and free trials

Cribbb is free to download and use. Some extras are paid.

How you pay

Cribbb Plus, call minutes and gifts are bought in the app and paid through the App Store (Apple) on iPhone and iPad or Google Play (Google) on Android, using the payment method in your Apple or Google account.

Apple or Google processes the payment, and their terms of sale also apply. We never see or store your card details.

Prices are shown in the app and the store before you buy, in your local currency where available, and include any taxes the store collects. Prices may differ by country.

Cribbb Plus subscriptions

Cribbb Plus is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that adds extra features such as more call minutes and verification.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, until you cancel. The store charges you within 24 hours before the renewal date.

To cancel, go to your subscriptions in the App Store or Google Play at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel it. When you cancel, Plus stays on until the end of the period you have paid for.

If we change the price of Plus, we’ll tell you in advance. Where the law or the store requires it, the new price only applies after you agree to it; otherwise it applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Free trials

We may offer a free trial of Plus. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your chosen plan starts and the store charges you. We remind you before the trial ends.

Free trials are for new subscribers and are limited to one per person. We may change or stop offering trials.

Call minutes

Calls and voice notes use minutes. Your plan includes a monthly allowance, and you can buy extra minute packs.

Monthly minutes reset each month and don’t carry over. Minutes have no cash value and can’t be transferred, except by sending them as a gift.

Gifts

You can buy Plus or call minutes as a one-time gift for a friend. A gift doesn’t renew and doesn’t change your own plan.

A gift can’t be exchanged for money. If a gift is refunded, what it gave may be removed from your friend’s account.

Refunds

Because the store takes the payment, refunds are requested from Apple or Google and decided under their rules. See our Refund Policy for how this works.

If a payment is refunded or reversed, what it paid for ends.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law.

08Group trips and shared costs

The person who creates a group trip decides who can join, and can remove members.

Shared costs (splits) help a group keep track of who owes what and who has paid. Cribbb never holds, collects or transfers money. Members pay each other directly, by the methods the group chooses, at their own risk.

The group agrees its own rules, such as what happens if someone backs out or pays late. Cribbb records these rules and payments as reported and confirmed by members, but isn’t responsible for disputes between members or for payments made outside Cribbb.

Votes and plans in a group trip are agreements between members, not with Cribbb.

09Meeting people and staying safe

Meeting new people is part of travelling. Please take care.

People you meet on Cribbb are not checked by us unless they show a verified badge, and even then a badge only confirms an identity, not character. Use your judgement.

Meet in public places, tell someone you trust where you’re going, and read our Safety Tips.

Never send money to someone you’ve only met online.

Block and report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. We review reports and take action under these terms.

You are responsible for your own interactions with other people, online and in person. As far as the law allows, Cribbb isn’t responsible for how other people behave.

10Messages and calls

Your chats are end-to-end encrypted, including photos, voice notes and files. Only the people in the chat can read them; Cribbb can’t. This means we can’t recover your messages if you lose all your devices, and we can’t see a chat unless someone in it shows it to us.

Calls are encrypted while they travel and are never recorded by Cribbb.

Translation of chats happens on your phone.

Encryption protects your privacy, but you are still responsible for what you send. The community rules below apply to messages and calls too, and we act on reports from the people involved.

11Your content

You own the content you post, such as videos, photos, reviews, comments, trips and messages.

To run Cribbb, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, process, adapt (for example to resize or compress a video), display and distribute your content, only to provide, promote and improve Cribbb and only to the audience your settings allow. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people have already shared or that we must keep by law.

Only post content you have the right to share. If your content includes other people, make sure they agree.

Be honest in reviews. If a video or review is sponsored, paid, gifted or earns you a commission, say so using the label Cribbb provides.

You can delete your content at any time.

12Community rules

Keep Cribbb safe and welcoming. Our Community Guidelines explain these rules in more detail. Don’t use Cribbb to:

post or send anything illegal, violent, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers children;

bully, threaten, stalk, scam or impersonate anyone, or share someone’s private information without their consent;

post false or misleading information, fake reviews or undisclosed advertising;

infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights;

send spam, create fake or automated accounts, or buy or sell accounts, followers or engagement;

scrape, copy or collect data from Cribbb, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission;

break, probe or get around our security, or interfere with Cribbb or other people’s use of it;

break the law or help anyone else do so.

We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules (see “Suspension and termination”).

13Verification and badges

Verification is part of Cribbb Plus. You can ask to be verified by showing that an account or link is yours. We decide whether to approve it.

A verified badge shows that we checked an identity at the time. It isn’t an endorsement.

We may remove a badge if the information changes, if it was given falsely, or if the account breaks these terms.

14Cribbb’s rights

Cribbb, including its name, logo, design, software and content we create, belongs to us and our licensors and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Cribbb app and website for your own, non-commercial use, under these terms. You may not copy, modify, sell or reverse-engineer Cribbb, except where the law allows it.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

15Suspension and termination

You can stop using Cribbb and delete your account at any time.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account if you break these terms or the law, if you create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we must do so by law. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

If you think we made a mistake, contact us and we’ll review it.

If your account is closed for breaking these terms, you may not get a refund for any remaining subscription period, except where the law or the store requires one.

Sections that by their nature should continue (such as Your content, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability and Disputes) still apply after your account ends.

16Disclaimers

We work hard to keep Cribbb accurate, safe and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise that Cribbb will always be error-free, secure or uninterrupted, or that information from partners, other users or AI is accurate or complete.

Cribbb isn’t a travel agent, airline, hotel or tour operator, and isn’t responsible for the services of our partners, which are provided under their own terms.

Some places don’t allow these disclaimers, so they may not all apply to you.

17Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows:

Cribbb isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for lost profits, data, opportunities or goodwill, arising from your use of Cribbb.

Cribbb isn’t liable for the acts of travel partners or other users, for bookings made with partners, for payments between group members, or for losses caused by relying on information that changed or was wrong.

Our total liability to you for any claim about Cribbb is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

18Your responsibility to us

If you break these terms or the law, or your content infringes someone’s rights, and this leads to a claim against Cribbb, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs this causes us, as far as the law allows. This doesn’t apply if you use Cribbb as a consumer in a place where the law doesn’t allow it.

19Disputes

If you have a problem with Cribbb, contact us first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly and informally, and we’ll try to resolve it within 30 days.

If we can’t resolve it, the dispute will be handled under the laws and in the courts that apply where Cribbb is established, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it in your local courts or under your local laws, in which case you keep that right.

20App Store and Google Play

If you downloaded Cribbb from the Apple App Store or Google Play:

These terms are between you and Cribbb, not Apple or Google. Cribbb, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support and any claims about it.

Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app (if any). As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.

Apple isn’t responsible for any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection claims, or claims that it infringes someone’s intellectual property.

You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You must also follow the App Store or Google Play terms of service.

21Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Cribbb changes or the law requires. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If we make significant changes, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using Cribbb after that, you accept the new terms; if you don’t agree, you can stop using Cribbb and delete your account.
